Wesley Mission Queensland
Firstmac staff helped prepare and serve meals at Wesley Mission Queensland, bringing comfort and connection to those doing it tough
On 9th September 2025, our Firstmac team members visited the Wesley Mission Queensland’s headquarter office in Fortitude Valley to lend a hand at their community BBQ. Together, we grilled burgers, served sausage sizzles, and handed out sweet treats and drinks to individuals and families who rely on Wesley Mission’s vital support services.
It was a small gesture, but one that meant a lot. Sharing a meal is more than just food, it’s a moment of care and connection. For our team, it was a privilege to be part of something so meaningful.
Why do we support them?
Wesley Mission Queensland walks alongside people in need, offering care, compassion and support across mental health, aged care, housing and family services. They help 600 people access free meals or food parcels per week, support over 8,000 individuals with mental health care, and assist thousands of seniors, retirees, and families across Queensland.
At Firstmac, we believe in showing up for our community. Whether it’s flipping burgers or simply offering a smile, we’re proud to support organisations like Wesley Mission Queensland who make a real difference in people’s lives.
