In August, a group of 12 Firstmac volunteers visited the Farm Angels office in Virginia, where they handwrote more than 200 personalised cards and packed approximately 130 hamper boxes. These hampers were distributed to farming families for Father’s Day, offering practical support and a reminder that their communities are thinking of them.

From droughts and floods to the everyday challenges of life on the land, many farming families face significant pressures. Through initiatives like these, Farm Angels helps ensure families receive not only essential supplies, but also encouragement and connection during difficult times. It was a rewarding day for everyone involved, knowing that each card and hamper would make its way to a farming family in need. The opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause reinforced the importance of supporting regional communities and the people who help feed and sustain Australia.

Why do we support them?

We are proud to support a charity run by big hearts that offers a listening ear, practical assistance and personalised support to farming families affected by natural disasters and hardship.

How you can help?

Whether you want to roll up your sleeves or contribute from a distance, there are plenty of ways to get involved. You can make monetary, grocery, or household items donations, join as an Angel Volunteer to lend hands-on help to farmers and the Farm Angels team. As a business, you can also support through payroll giving.
