Packing day at Palliative Care Queensland

Our team recently volunteered their time at the Palliative Care Queensland (PCQ) office, lending a helping hand as the team prepared for National Palliative Care Week 2026, running from 10–16 May.

The volunteering day provided a meaningful opportunity for us to contribute behind the scenes and support PCQ. One of our staff shared.

“The experience was educational, enjoyable and emotional. It was great to work with team members from other areas of the business to support PCQ as part of their upcoming national awareness campaign. Our task involved putting together 348 information bags and over 30 resource boxes to be sent to their member base all over Queensland. I gained a deeper understanding that palliative care is for anyone of any age with a life-limiting illness, and death not only impacts the individual but has a huge impact on their loved ones. PCQ is there to help everyone involved throughout the journey.”
