Hamper Packing Day at Farm Angels
In preparation for Father’s Day, Firstmac team members lent a hand by handwriting cards and assembling hampers for farmers and their families.
Nine Firstmac team members visited the Farm Angels office in Virginia to help handwrite heartfelt cards and prepare hampers for farming families. Over 200 cards were written, and 149 hampers were packed, ready to be sent out in time for Father’s Day this September. These thoughtful hampers aim to show appreciation and support for Aussie farmers and their families doing it tough.
Why do we support them?
We are proud to support a charity run by big hearts who offer a listening ear, a warm hug and personalised support to farming families who are impacted by natural disasters. We had a chance to speak with Chris, Farm Angels' Head of Fundraising, who shared, “By Firstmac coming in and assisting us, by assisting farmers and putting in those nice little touches, we know that we are making a difference through the mental health and wellbeing of our farming community."
How you can help?
Whether you want to roll up your sleeves or contribute from a distance, there are plenty of ways to get involved. You can make monetary, grocery, or household items donation, join as an Angel Volunteer to lend hands-on help to farmers and the Farm Angels team. As a business, you can also support through payroll giving.
