Golf Charity Day with Steve Waugh Foundation

Firstmac representatives attended the Steve Waugh Foundation Golf Day, helping raise funds to support children and young people living with rare diseases.

Firstmac was proud to attend the 2026 Steve Waugh Foundation Golf Day at Grange @ Forever Green, joining SWF supporters, partners and community members for a meaningful day in support of children and young people living with rare diseases.

Firstmac entered two teams on the day, led by Executive James Austin and Head of Third Party Jake Sanders, who played alongside colleagues and industry partners. Finishing with close scores of 93 and 94. It was an inspiring day, surrounded by individuals and organisations who are passionate about supporting families navigating the challenges of rare disease.

Funds raised from the day will go directly towards the Steve Waugh Foundation’s Individual Grants Program, which provides life‑changing support including access to medicine, specialised equipment, treatment and essential items that improve quality of life for children affected by rare diseases.
