During the recent school holidays, seven Firstmac staff members and their 11 children visited Cooper House Aged Care Community, operated by Wesley Mission Queensland, for a special intergenerational volunteering day.

The group joined residents for a lively game of Bingo, filling the room with laughter, conversation and a little friendly competition. Children and residents quickly connected over the game, sharing stories and celebrating each win together.

The visit created meaningful moments for everyone involved. Many staff members shared that both they and their children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, with the opportunity to spend quality time with older members of the community proving especially valuable.
