Firstmac strengthens support for Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland 

As part of the partnership, Firstmac will support the Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland Gala Ball, All Night Long event and Golf Day, helping to raise vital funds that enable the charity to keep families together while children undergo life-changing medical treatment.

Firstmac CEO Marie Mortimer said the partnership reflected the company's long-standing commitment to supporting children and families through its Women, Children and Community Program.

Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland CEO, Emma Thompson said the partnership would ensure families stay strong, connected and close throughout their child’s healthcare journey.

Ronald McDonald House supports thousands of families each year through accommodation, hospitality programs and practical services that help families stay close to a child receiving medical treatment.

The partnership with Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland complements Firstmac's long-standing support of the Steve Waugh Foundation, one of the company's longest-running community partnerships.

For more than a decade, Firstmac has supported the Foundation's work helping children and young adults living with rare diseases.

Firstmac employees have volunteered through Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland’s Meals from the Heart program, and supported families through initiatives including the Brisbane Broncos' Full of Kindness Toy Drive where staff donate Christmas gifts for ill or injured children.
